Acrylics Bold and Bright | Mellissa Read-Devine

Learn to enjoy painting with acrylics in a contemporary impressionist way.

What will I learn?

Mellissa is keen to help you be able to find your own style and will encourage you to paint bolder and brighter, with an emphasis on clear vibrant colour combinations. The weekend will be spent painting the landscape and the birdlife in it.

Day 1 will be spent interpreting the landscape from photos and colour mixing for paintings that glow

Day 2 will be the figurative addition to the landscape – Australian birds will be demonstrated, but you are welcome to paint an animal instead. How to compose your painting and bring a sense of narrative and personality into the work.

Who is this workshop suitable for?
