This is a complete introduction to everything you need to know about Acrylic Paint Pens.

Acrylic Paint Pens offer a quick, fun learning curve and are an easy, un-intimidating method of creating Art. Also one of the most versatile tools in the artist's studio, acrylic Paint pens and markers add creativity to many surfaces and work on almost any surface including paper, wood, textiles, glass, ceramics, stone and more. They're available in a wide range of dynamic colours and finishes - so you'll never run out of creative ways to use them.

What will I learn?

Georgie will guide students through the process of using water-based acrylic Paint Pens in their own art practice. Students will learn how to use and care for their Paint Pens, prepare your surface for use of Paint Pens, blend pen colours, how to use them creatively to make all artworks pop!  This is the ultimate introduction to Acrylic Paint Pens.  While Georgie uses Posca, Liquitex and Life of Colour, you are welcome to bring any brands you have including Born, by Officeworks, Ironlak - just make sure that you only bring water-based Acrylic Paint Pens! 

Who is this workshop suitable for?

No experience required. Beginners welcome. This is also a fun painting activity to do with family and friends!

What do I need to bring?

Bring your enthusiasm and imagination!  And you can bring your own acrylic paint pens and bring as many as you like, as well as a good mix of nib sizes. Georgie will be demonstrating how to open the pens, prepare them for use, take care of them, and will also demonstrate the many creative ways to have fun using them.
